Prayer leads to strength and power, but it also keeps me humble. Prayer reminds me that ministry is not about me and my wild ideas, but about God and His plan for changing lives. I certainly believe that God leads us to use certain plans and strategies to reach people, but I think once He leads us usually we take the plan on by ourselves and forget we need Him to follow it through!
What has to happen for an idea or plan to work?
1. God has to ignite the plan with His power.
2. We have to stay connected to Him for strength to follow through.
3. We have to remain consistent in all other areas of ministry.
4. Jesus and other life changing Biblical truths must be at the core of the plan.
Getting people to show up for something different isn't that hard, but inserting Jesus and truth is what changes lives. If we get people to show up and there is no life change, something went wrong with the plan!

Target Groups
Does God value all people in the same category or not?
I am on the front of the train that promotes reaching the younger generation, but let’s not miss the 89 year old man about to die and go to hell. Let’s get rid of all forms of discrimination like age, race, citizenship, and color and become great commission churches. Let’s reach the younger generation and everyone else too!
As pastors and church planters shouldn’t we teach our people that every generation is dependant upon the other? How can the older women teach the younger women if there are only younger women? How can the older men teach the younger men if there are no younger men?
My Bible teaches that we are to reach children, students, families, singles, the divorced, and the widows. Becoming all things to all men seems to promote a number of methods and styles for reaching not just one target group, but everyone that has a soul. This means our strategies and plans must include methods and styles for every people group living in range.
Many won’t attempt this challenge because it’s too hard. If you are a lazy preacher, get some guts and get off your buts (purposely one "t")! I mean I’m tired of hearing, “I would do this or that, but…”

Busy Trying To Establish An Example
The reason I haven't been posting on my blog lately is because I am busy trying to reach some goals that will make our church an example church in the area of evangelism and missions. I do often pray and think about my blog world friends. Please pray with me for our church as we continue to set some records that can only be attributed to God!
Also, if anyone knows an agressive youth pastor looking for a place to serve have him give me a buzz!
